actor Aditya Srivastava, who played the role of Senior Inspector Abhijeet in Sony TV's most popular show CID.  Aditya is celebrating his birthday today.   Aditya Srivastava was born on  1968 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.  Aditya’s father Mr. DN Srivastava was a banker.  Aditya has completed his personal studies from Sultanpur and Allahabad.

While studying at Allahabad University, Aditya got a chance to do theater in Sangeet Samiti.  Aditya got the chance to act in Hindi cinema with Shekhar Kapoor's 'Bandit Queen', in which he played the role of Puttilal.  After coming to Mumbai in 1995, Aditya worked as a voice over artist in several TV commercials.  Aditya has worked in TV shows like Byomkesh Bakshi, Rishte, Naya Daur, Yeh Shaadi Nahin Hoi, Aahat.

 Aditya Srivastava is also one of the best theater artists in the world of Hindi cinema and TV.  He is known from house to house in CID as Senior Inspector Abhijit.  Apart from TV, Aditya has also acted in a number of films, including Satya, Gulal, Paanch, Black, Kalu and Dil Se Pooch Kidar Hai.

 In a recent interview, Aditya Srivastava aka Senior Inspector Abhijeet talked about his show CID.  "Negotiations are underway for the second season of CID, but there is no confirmation yet," he said in an interview.  He said that the makers of the show keep informing me from time to time that you guys will be ready, we are bringing the second season in a new form. '
